New Decade, New You1/6/2010

Happy new year to you all. Hope you had a good christmas. Now it is back to the hard work to get back in shape. The last 3 months have flown past. Since the last blog I have been on various courses to learn what's new and relevant to fitness for 2010. Most importantly of all, I decided to revisit my pilates training. I did my first course back in the 1990's but didn't feel passionate enough at the time to spend much time on it. I have, however always applied some pilates based moves into my aerobics and conditioning classes ever since. In October I went to Nottingham for a 3 day intensive Advanced pilates course. I didn't realise that this was cutting edge new pilates and now feel honoured to be one of only 39 instructors in the country to have got through. I am very excited to add this to my repertoire of specialist training for clients. Also this year, I feel that the only way people can achieve their personal fitness goals is to work out with family or friends and I will be encouraging you all to find a friend to help you through the times when it is hard going.
